Winter and the Northern Lights
The house naturally has a different vibe in the winters in Iceland. From mid October our plants in the atrium garden go to sleep and don't start to wake up until April/May.
The Northern lights start to appear in September onwards and winter properly sets in normally in November with numerous low pressures hitting the country.
Stargazing is incredible from our place with the sky hugging us all around in 360* - seeing The Milky Way and seeing shooting stars is not uncommon.
The enormity of nature here is constantly reminding us how small us humans are and ITS MAGICAL!
